Michael knows Central Pennsylvania well. He has lived in Boiling Springs his whole life and is a graduate of Boiling Springs High School, where he played soccer and ran on the track team. He attended school with RSR’s Blaine Berrier, and when his parents moved in 2021, Blaine’s mother, RSR, REALTORS® President Jamie Berrier, was their real estate agent.

Seeing how Jamie helped his parents find a new home, Michael reached out to Blaine. He wanted to know what Blaine did, and how he could get into real estate.

“It’s a career where I’m able to help people, and it’s flexible,” Michael says. “Every day is different. I like the exciting aspect of that.”

Michael earned his Pennsylvania real estate license in October 2023 and is now working in residential sales. He knows that high interest rates make this a challenging time to be in real estate, but he looks on the bright side.

“I’m preparing myself for it to be difficult for a while, but what better time to learn than at the hardest time?” he says. “That’s where I’ll learn the most lessons.”

Outside of work, Michael still runs and plays sports in recreational leagues. He enjoys road trips and is a music lover whose favorite bands are classic artists like the Beatles and the Strokes.

“It has a bit of everything,” he says. “There are nice, quiet neighborhoods with beautiful houses. It has cities nearby, with easy access to farmland and open spaces.”
