Bill Rothman, founder and treasurer of RSR REALTORS®, developed a love of real estate as a child growing up on his family's scenic 155-acre farm in Lower Paxton Township. After gaining inspiration from realtors who approached his father about selling the farm, Bill majored in real estate at Penn State and got his license in 1962. He started selling residential properties, then began selling commercial real estate in the 1980s, including apartment buildings and restaurants, excelling on the commercial side.

In 1970 Bill and Chuck Schubert started Rothman Schubert, later RSR REALTORS®, growing it rapidly. Despite economic ups and downs, Bill's natural talent for solving clients' space issues ensured continued success. His reputation meant that satisfied homebuyers later came to him for commercial space as their businesses grew. In 1991 Bill got an appraisal certification, doing valuations for local governments and infrastructure projects.

RSR’s diversification across residential, commercial and appraisal has ensured stability, as when one area is down another is up. RSR got into development to control their destiny, launching upscale communities that leverage their market knowledge. Bill contributes to the community and works to improve youth baseball facilities. His staff, including son Greg as President/CEO and son Garrett as broker, keep RSR thriving. Now Bill enjoys seeing his grandchildren take an interest in real estate and continuing the RSR legacy
